Our Artwork and Print Service
Quotations
We provide free, no obligation quotations for your printed stationery requirements based on a supplied sample or from your written or verbal specification. Upon receipt of your enquiry, R & K Robinson aim to provide a full written quote to you by email within 24 hours. Quotes for new jobs allow for average artwork setting where required and include delivery to one UK mainland address. They are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. VAT is charged on most printed stationery items that we supply and is displayed on the quote. Some items such as brochures and leaflets can be zero rated. Artwork
We offer a full stationery design service for your printed stationery requirements ranging from logo design to multi-page company brochures. Using the latest versions of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Acrobat, we can create your printed stationery form based on your instructions or from a supplied sample. We can also accept print ready artwork from you by email. Prior to printing, for new jobs and existing jobs where amendments have been made, a PDF proof will be supplied to you by email or a laser proof will be posted to you for checking content and positioning. Once we have received written approval of the proof from you the order will proceed to print.
Stock Images
We offer an extensive range of high resolution JPEG stock images and vector files from Shutterstock for use in your next print project. With 18 categories in total, they are ideal for brochures, business cards, calendars, compliment slips, greeting cards, invitations, leaflets, letterheads and posters. All JPEG images and vector files are licensed for use in print and the following categories are available: Around The World, Art, Backgrounds, British Cities, British Landscapes, British Wildlife, Cats, Christmas, Dogs, Horses, Invitations, Logos, Marine Life, Sport, Stationery Templates, Transport, Weddings and World Wildlife. All orders supplied by R & K Robinson are printed by UK based trade suppliers with most printed stationery products being ready for despatch within 10 working days from receipt of your order or proof approval. Some printed stationery products such as business cards and leaflets can be delivered in just a few days. Digital printing is often used for small quantities of under 1000 copies as no plates are required and set up is quicker than lithographic printing. Digitally printed products are not suitable for laser printers due to the heat generated but are fine for inkjet printers. Litho offset printing involves plates and is more cost effective than digital print for longer runs. Pantone spot colours can be used too.
Delivery
Once your print order has been completed, it is despatched for next day delivery directly to you by courier from our supplier. DPD, APC and Parcelforce are generally used for smaller orders whilst larger consignments will be sent with specialist pallet couriers. One mainland UK delivery with tracking is made between 7am and 7pm Monday to Friday and is included within our quoted price. All deliveries require a signature and proof of delivery can be supplied if required. Timed deliveries before noon or before 10:30am are available on some products for an additional charge. If required, we can also offer white label packaging with no reference to R & K Robinson on the boxes or delivery note.
Payments
R & K Robinson accept payment for the printed stationery orders that we supply by BACS or cheque. Upon acceptance of a written quotation from us, if you want to proceed on a proforma basis an invoice will be raised and emailed to you and full payment and cleared funds are required before your order is printed and despatched. We do offer credit facilities for account holders with payment due within 30 days of the date of invoice. Sample Packs
Not sure what weight or material to choose for your next print order? Wondering whether matt, gloss or soft-touch lamination would look best on your business card or flyer? Our sample packs can help you decide. Presented in an A5 matt laminated presentation folder, samples include examples of silk paper and board (150gsm, 350gsm, 450gsm), gloss paper (130gsm, 170gsm) and uncoated paper and board (120gsm, 350gsm recycled). Our sample packs also include examples of conqueror wove (350gsm) and ice gold (300gsm) as well as stickers, rounded corner business cards, DL 6pp C-Fold leaflets and square greeting cards.
