Meet Ian Robinson
Welcome to our website which shows the print and design services that R & K Robinson – based in Stourport on Severn in Worcestershire – offer to our clients both locally in Stourport, Kidderminster and Bewdley and throughout the UK. I am your main day to day contact here at R & K Robinson and look after your valued print order from start to finish. Using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop I can create artwork for a wide range of printed stationery items from business cards, greeting cards and invitations to continuous stationery and multi-page company brochures. I take pride in doing the best job I can for our customers and never forget you have a choice in where you place your print order.
Outside of work, I am a keen runner having completed 7 marathons and 3 ultramarathons to date with my furthest and toughest run being a 50 mile race on the North Downs Way in May 2018 which included 5600 feet of elevation. I also enjoy football and was once on the books of West Bromwich Albion F.C. for 5 years having signed schoolboy forms. I am happily married to my wife Karen and have a wonderful daughter Lexie. I have over 25 year’s experience within the printing industry and I would be delighted to discuss your printed stationery requirements with you and hopefully show how R & K Robinson can provide you with a quality design and print service at competitive prices.
Meet Richard Robinson
When I joined my first printing company, The Formprint Group, in 1978 most orders in the print trade were produced in house by the printer and very little work was outsourced. Formprint was a manufacturing company based in Halesowen in the West Midlands and their strength was in short-run print with extremely competitive prices but it became obvious to me that the company struggled to compete on larger print runs. I approached my boss and got his agreement to introduce a new print management approach to outsource larger print jobs to trade suppliers and service more customers. It was very successful and sales quickly increased the annual company turnover to £4 million.
I became Managing Director of Formprint for nearly a decade and was responsible for establishing several blue chip accounts and a large sales team until leaving to set up R & K Robinson in 1995 along with my son, Ian, who was already working in the print trade. Away from work, I am happily married to my wife Kay and have two other children Vicki and Craig. I attend the gym on a regular basis and I am a long-suffering fan of Birmingham City FC. As well as football, I enjoy most sports, particularly cricket. I have over 40 years experience in the print industry so if I can help in any way with your next print enquiry please get in touch. Thanks for visiting our website.
